South Lake Tahoe
Fire Update
The fire near South Lake Tahoe has grown to over 2,500 hundred acres and has
destroyed over 220 structures. There is no estimate of containment. Over 1,000
people have been evacuated. The evacuation shelter is located at the Rufus Allen
Recreation Center, located at 1180 Rufus Allen Boulevard in South Lake Tahoe.
Pets:
Pets displaced by the blaze are being taken to the Pet Network Evacuation Shelter
located on 401 Village Boulevard in Incline Village is housing any domestic
animals owned by victims of the blaze.

A business in Reno has started a Blanket and Food Drive to help South Lake Tahoe
Residents. You may drop off blankets and supplies starting Monday morning at
